The Order of the Arrow, or OA, has welcomed adult women since 1988. The updated election policy, which became effective on Feb. 1, 2019, means women and girls who are under 21 are now eligible for the service-minded society. Upon the update- we had several young ladies that not only were eligible but excited on the prospect of joining. The Order of the Arrow is the National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America, composed of Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives as elected by their peers. Some have joined the AIA Dance Team, became Chapter Chiefs for their District or Officer\’s within the Lodge.
