Katlyn Deyhle is a founding member of Venturing Crew 369. She earned the Bronze Outdoor Award prior to BSA National restructuring the awards program. She went on to earn the Summit Award- it\’s highest honor in 2019- the second in the Crew and the first female in the Coastal Georgia Council. She is also an Introduction to Leadership Skill for Crews trainer, completed EDGE training, NRA Certified for pistols and a recruiter for her Unit and a trained Mentor. She is Low COPE I trained, completed Kodiak Challenge, Leave No Trace and Wilderness First Aid, Historic Trails Award and staffed NYLT (National Youth Leadership Training).
Her roles have included Crew Secretary, Crew Guide and Mentor.
Katlyn was tasked to design and lead a service project that would benefit others. She chose to help a local non-profit, Coastal Pet Rescue, in building an outdoor play area for the large dog kennel.
Katlyn was also one of the first female Ordeal Inductees of the Order of the Arrow -becoming an Arrowmen at the I-Tsu-La Lodge.
